Young Librarian's Book Club
Bring your latest book recommendations and share with peers, as critics & reviewers, in a "book club" atmosphere. Guided with prompts & questions, engage in the joys of "social" literacy & build your library in this student-lead club.

Poetry of Emotions
This class guides and encourages young students to create their own poetry and word art around emotional expression and self-awareness.
Poetry has the power of transforming our emotional selves by noticing the small details of life up close. Learners will feel empowered, even if they aren’t reading or writing yet.
We will use color, shape, object, sound and rhyme to translate emotions into form during this playful hour.
Designed for K-2nd graders, with flexibilty!
